Positions that are needed at Way of the Cross:
Please keep in mind we all work with many different hats. You may have an area of specialty; we appreciate that. If something comes up that requires all of us working together. We all work together to get the things done that God has called us to do. Even when it’s out of your job description. While you are with us be ready to serve with different hats.
- Full-Time Mechanic Position – in our Harlingen facility we have a job opening for a full-time You will be working on ministry vehicles and sometimes working on staff vehicles. We have a fairly nice workshop with most of the tools. If you want to bring your own hand tools that would be good. You will be responsible for them.
- Teacher positions for Homeschooling – Many of our families are homeschooling. Some of the children have various different challenges. If you are patient and love teaching children and teens this job would be great for you. We do not require that you have a teaching credentials.
- Assistant Warehouse Manager – this position would help our warehouse manager keep the supplies put up and help in the distribution of supplies. It’s not necessary that you be able to drive a forklift because we can teach you. This would be a fun job – there’s always something coming into our warehouse.
- Short-Term Mission’s Leaders –first you will be required to go through our training first. We are looking for people to help us lead short-term mission teams. This position is for those that are outgoing and willing to work inter-denominational, teach the word of God, be flexible with schedules, flexible with travel, pastoral experience would be a big plus and a heart for people. Being on fire for Jesus is required. If God is calling you for this position, there would be a fair amount of on-the-job training.
- Servant to the Servants – we are also looking for people that are flexible, willing to unload trucks one minute, help cook the next, mow the grass or whatever needs to be done. This is a very highly sought after position at Way of the Cross.
- Spanish translators needed in U.S., Mexico, Nicaragua – this position requires complete knowledge of the Spanish language, you must have a servant’s heart to do whatever is needed as you are in the mission field.
- Assistant Director of our base camp in Aldama, Mexico – this position will be working alongside the director, taking care of the needs of the camp, helping put together short-term mission trips, working in the community, determining the work for our short term missionaries can do for the kingdom and the community.
