SAN FERNANDO VIDA ORPHANAGE
San Fernando Vida Orphanage is located about 100 miles south of the U.S. border in Mexico.
The orphanage is directed by Joe and Gloria Garza and is a small orphanage. It is a very poor area of Mexico and Joe and Gloria take in the children that no one else wanted or could work with. You wouldn’t believe these kids’ heart for Jesus.
There are many things that need to be done on the orphanage facilities. We would like to expand so that we can take more children in, and the ministry in this area is very great. Joe and Gloria are very evangelistically minded and if you come, you can be assured that the children will want to come too!
This facility is open to small groups up to 25 people. There are currently 15 orphans. The facility is on 16 acres so there is a lot of room to run and play but also areas that can be used to minister in the small villages that are desperate for help.
Should you want to dine out in the evening there are restaurants in town but the orphanage has a humble kitchen and will provide yummy Mexican fare.
You will be blessed and full of joy to work with the children and you’ll find that they will work just as hard as your team!
