MISSIONARY TRAINING SCHOOL 2022-2023

Where: Buenas Aires, Mexico

When:  Oct. 3 – Oct. 29

Where: Masaya, Nicaragua

When: Jan. 30- Feb. 25

Our vision and purpose is to prepare our students for full-time service to the Lord in the mission field. During Missionary Training School, we want to share and teach you what we have learned as missionaries. We will have lessons on faith and biblical understanding mixed with practical applications of how to be a full-time servant of the Lord.

You will spend 4 hours in the classroom, learning valuable curriculum to draw you closer to Jesus and help you be prepared to lead others. Every day there will be 3 hours of hands-on ministry in order to receive both the spiritual and physical aspects of being His servant.

Sponsor A Student

INVITE

We are excited to invite you to join us for our Mexico Missionary Training School. The school is a month-long, intensive training for anyone who feels the Lord calling them into ministry. It is a time for you to seek the Lord, learn from others, go out and minister and, prayerfully, develop the call God has on your life.

So, what can you expect from the school?

The mornings start early 4:30 a.m. While the stars are still out and the air is crisp you will walk the camp to seek the Lord. It is your time to spend with Him, and many of our students are changed in this alone.

By 6 am you will have finished your hour and a half of prayer and will be busy working on the camp. Emptying trash cans, washing vans, mopping floors…it isn’t glamorous but it is needed, and it teaches how to be a servant.

At 8 you will have finished breakfast and will begin class. We make sure to keep coffee around, and we expect our students to be wide-eyed and ready to learn. The classes vary as much as the teachers do and the students will get a buffet of spiritual and practical lessons. Want to know how to give a story-telling sermon? Ben will teach you. Want to know what it means to serve as a missionary? Ask Byron, but watch out for his machete in class. Our teachers are all missionaries and pastors who have experience on the field, who know the struggles and triumphs of serving the Lord and who are eager to share what God has taught them with you.

After class and lunch you will split into small groups where you begin intense training on evangelism. We want to make sure you know how to share the Gospel, and share it well. We want to help you fine-tune your testimony and be prepared to speak to different groups of people. Throughout the month we take the training from the small-group out into the field where you will get to practice and see first-hand how to share Jesus with the people around you.

After supper, you will spend time in prayer and worship as a group. What better way to spend your days than to begin and end them with the Lord?

Just the Facts:

Should you go?

If you feel the Lord calling you to serve Him in ministry, but haven’t quite figured out how to go about it or where to start, then this school is right for you.

If you have been in ministry for a while but need some refreshing, some encouragement and a more intimate walk with the Lord, then this school is right for you.

If you want to learn from seasoned ministers, experience real-life ministry and to serve and seek the Lord with all your heart, then this school is right for you.

We love to see students come and grow in their walk with the Lord and in their ministry. We love to see how the Lord touches people and how He changes them and molds them when they surrender to Him. It reminds us of the time we answered our call, and how He is still calling us today.
