Items Needed for Big Feed

Big Feed is a time when we want to show our love and God’s love to the Mexican people.  Way of the Cross is always looking for items we can use to do this.  If you or your church have these items and are able to bring them down for the Big Feed, it would be a great blessing to those who receive them!

Raffle Items:

Bicycles (new or used in good condition)

Sewing machines (new or used in working condition)

Sports equipment

Tools

Used cars

Big Feed Gift Bags:

During the day of the Big Feed, every child will receive a gallon size Ziploc bag filled with some of these listed items.  We ask that you please help us make the distribution of these gift bags go smoothly by following these guidelines:

Bags should have a hole punched at the two top corners of the bag and have a piece of yarn tied through these holes.  If the bag is made for a boy, the yarn should be blue.  If the bag is made for a girl, the yarn should be pink.  If the bag is appropriate for either a boy or a girl, the yarn should be yellow. 

Items that might be placed in the bags could include:

Crayons & coloring pages

Small toys

Comb or brush

Toothbrush & toothpaste

Fingernail polish

Soap & shampoo

Spanish storybooks

Lotion

Candy
