We would love to invite you to come to the Big Feed this year on December 27, 28^th & 29^th.
Many have attended this event and every year it’s a little bit different. We will be having the event in the same squatter’s camp as last year. This year the population has grown almost 25% and the needs are greater than ever.

This is a time of year when the people living in this object poverty become very depressed because they’re not able to celebrate the Christmas holidays like you and I. In most cases there are no presents for the kids. In many cases not enough warm clothing and very limited food.

We are looking to feed between 10,000 people this year and prayerfully believing we will be able to give a gift bag to all of the children that come to the event. We will barbecue 5000 pounds of chicken and 3500 pounds of beans, we need your help desperately.  
Not only do we need your physical help but we also need you to help us put together gift bags for the children. We would love to have you or your church group be a part of the Big Feed by making some of these gift bags. It’s a 1 gallon Ziploc you can fill with: a small toy for boy, girl or baby, toiletries, school supplies, candy etc. With a blue or pink yarn string to indicate which gender.

We also give away used bicycles during the event. If you have an old bicycle bring it down. We also need help with the finances to purchase chicken and other supplies needed.

The Big Feed will take place the 27^th ,28^th and 29^th of December, though you are welcome to come the night before. The cost is $185 per person, which pays for your food, room and board and helps us buy the chicken.

I believe the event is going to be very great this year. It will take a lot of people working together to complete this event. There is something for the young or old to serve in this area.
You will bring a ray of sunshine to the whole area, along with the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
