January 11th – 17th, 2017
In 2017 we will be in an extremely poor area working out of a public school in Las Flores, Nicaragua. We will be doing medical care of all types: general, dental, pediatric, chiropractic and even teaching on health. Along with the great medical brigade, we will be doing child evangelism on the grounds and have four buses going out daily to evangelize in surrounding areas. We will also do pastoral training, bicycle repair, construction on an auditorium and building a church. With all this going on we need your help to make it happen!
We are hoping for at least 150 Americans to join us and 150 Nicaraguan leaders to make Med-Fest happen. One of the newest things we are doing is we have asked the local nursing school students to assist and learn from our medical professionals. It’s going to be a great adventure and God will use us working together to change the nation!
Greetings in the Name of the Lord!
Once again it’s time to start putting the details together for January’s MedFest event in Nicaragua. 2016’s medical brigade was one of the most successful we’ve ever hosted. We would like to invite you to come again and participate. If you’ve never been to MedFest, you’re missing a great opportunity to serve the Lord in so many different ways. From working in medical, to teaching pastors, to doing construction, evangelism, bike repair, discipleship, or just playing games with the kids, there’s something for everyone to do and a way for each to impact the Kingdom. We are working in a new area that is both heavily populated and very poor and their need is very great for good medical care. Below the pictures are links to last year’s MedFest coverage by a local TV station out of Masaya, this year’s MedFest location, and a video showing Way of the Cross Ministries’ missions for the remainder of this year and 2017. The greatest thing we do during this event is share the love of Jesus with everyone we see. Will you come and be a part of it?
We have reserved the Granada Hotel again and rooming assignments will be given on a first come, first served basis. The mission fee if you’re staying in Granada will be $850 and you will be responsible for your evening meal. If you’d like to stay at our base camp in Masaya, the mission fee is $750 and your meals are all included unless you decide to eat off of the camp. We ask that those who are going to participate this year send us a $200 deposit by October 10th.
Please forward this email to any who might want to participate!
